Don't Trust Your Nose? Try the New Fragrance App
Move over, counter help. Now there's an iPhone application dedicated specifically to finding your signature scent. Ascent, created by Estee Lauder brand Aramis, is a mobile application that asks you a series of questions in an effort to personalize your scent.
The application uses imagery, sound and scents to trigger responses that will ultimately define your personality as either sophisticated, casual or seductive. Once you've realized your type, an Aramis specialist will offer you fragrance samples that match your personality.
Currently, only Aramiz fragrances are suggested, including Michael Kors, Sean John and DKNY. The interactive app will debut at Nordstrom department stores later this month.
