Next up on the fragrance train? Katy Perry
The "California Girls" pop star is launching her debut fragrance in November. Katy Perry, who made a splash with her megahit, "I Kissed a Girl," is calling her fragrance Purr, according to WWD.com.
With a name like Purr, it's no surprise the perfume bottle is cat-shaped. But, what does it smell like? “There are amazing fragrances backed by other celebrities, but what I’m bringing is not like any other,” she said in an exclusive interview with WWD. “I really wanted to develop a scent that was completely unlike anything I’d smelled before and not one that smelled like a knockoff of another scent."
Purr was created by Firmenich, the perfume house behind the FiFi award-winning Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, and has top notes of peach nectar, forbidden apple and green bamboo; a heart of jasmine blossom, pink freesia and Bulgarian rose, and a drydown of vanilla orchid, white amber, creamy sandalwood and musk.
