Look for Thierry Mugler's A*Men Pure Havane in May
On the heels of A*Men Pure Coffee and A*Men Pure Malt, Thierry Mugler is releasing A*Men Pure Havane, a fragrance inspired by the cigar heritage of Havana. Notes of fresh tobacco, patchouli, cacao and amber make up the scent, which will officially launch in May. If you act fast, you might be able to buy a preview bottle through Feb. 10.
The exceptionally masculine fragrance was created by Givaudan perfumer Jacques Huclier. The idea behind A*Men Pure Havane is to mimick the experience of smoking a cigar; slowly revealing layers of flavor that build in intensity. In the case of A*Men Pure Havane, the aroma builds with each note. An opening of fresh tobacco leaves makes way for a heart of honeyed tobacco laced with vanilla. Finally, A*Men Pure Havane settles into its woody, rich base of patchouli and cacao.
