Sleep is key to healthy, glowing skin

How many times has someone said to you, Wow you look tired? Our skin doesn't lie when it comes to sleep deprivation. Just how much sleep do you need? In a society where "go, go, go" is the norm, we may opt to skimp on sleep. In the end, however, we're doing our bodies (and our skin) harm.

Getting seven to nine hours of sleep is essential for healthy skin. Skin cells do their best work while we're resting, nourishing and repairing our skin against environmental damage. This nourishment is the secret to a healthy glow.
