Latest update: According to a July 15 article on WWD.com, Lady Gaga working on a fragrance with Coty is simply a rumor. Coty officials denied a report that the pop star inked a fragrance deal with its beauty division. Bummer.

Mega popstar Lady Gaga is jumping on the celebrity fragrance bandwagon. The "Poker Face" artist, known for her outrageous fashion choices, is working with Coty to create what will certainly be a unique scent.

Gaga's fragrance will hit the market by Christmas. Stay tuned, the marketing campaign will likely be massive.

Quirky fashionista Betsey Johnson plans to dust off and revive her original fragrance, which launched in 1982 with less-than-stellar reviews, as well as roll out a new women's fragrance sometime next year.

“I think that after some kind of clothing existence, a designer needs a fragrance,” Johnson told WWD, after announcing her newly inked deal with Inter Parfums Inc. to roll out fragrances, personal care products and color cosmetics. “It’s just like you have dessert after dinner.”

We don't know exactly what the new fragrance will be, but we know what it will not be. "It ain't gonna be au naturel, sweet, foodlike - like chocolate - [or] patchouli."

If it has notes of light floral rose or rosemary, it must be a women's fragrance, right? Or what about fig leaves, leather and tobacco? Definitely for men. Generally speaking, it's true that men and women prefer certain scents over others when it comes to tickling the nose, but unisex fragrances are more common now than ever.

Swanky French shoe designer Roger Vivier is launching his first line of women's fragrances this month. The fragrances will be unveiled at the Paris Couture shows and include iris, neroli, rose, sandalwood and amber. The fragrances, which will be sold specifically at boutique stores, will be available this fall.

Bruce Willis' signature fragrance collection will hit the market Thursday. The collection includes an eau de parfum, hair and body was, deodorant spray and aftershave.

Willis worked with German seller LR Health & Beauty Systems to create the fragrance, which is said to be an offshoot of his masculine image oncreen. Gray in color, the scent includes grapefruit, pepper and vetiver.

“The development of my new fragrance together with the very committed and passionate LR team was really a lot of fun,” Willis stated at a recent press conference. “The products stand for individuality, uniqueness and sustainability. That’s what convinced me and what unites me with LR.”

Mango Manga has been on the market in Japan since 2005. And now, in 2010, the rest of the world can experience the sunniness of this wildly exotic fragrance.

Montale's Mango Manga is a trip without the traveling. It's a rainforesty tropical vacation in a bottle. Its hints of mango are not overwhelming or sweet like one would expect, but authentic and almost wild, extracted directly from fruit just picked from the tree.
